I thought this was pretty good. Perhaps a little too much empty black space toward the bottom. Cropped a little more to the top might draw me to the subject more.

Responding to your post-mortem request more feedback on this:

I think the sunrise glow and the two small figures in the water are competing for attention here. The horizon is also right in the middle, and my view is not steered to either subject. All the details are on the left side of the image.

I'm going to go have a look at your other version that you said did not meet the challenge theme. (looks like you don't have it posted. I'd love to see it, if possible.)

I like the texture and the glint off the bottle. A little bare, maybe. My eye tends to go up toward the upper portion, rather than to the bottle and spill.

The colors are enhanced almost to the point of not looking like a photo anymore. However, You were clearly going for the look, not realism. The fringe showing on the leaf on the far right is a little out of place. Otherwise, it's very nice stuff.
