Flameby RoosterComment: Had to do a second look to see the time lapse in this one. I might have likes a little more of the melted candle in the hot at the bottom, but it's nice. |

The Fade of Dayby Trumpeteer4Comment: I think this may a long exposure, not a time lapse, but who am I to be splitting hairs after getting DQ'd in this one?
I do like this. There's a bit of high iso noise in the sky, but I really love the patterns in the snow and the fade to the starry sky. |

Growth On Tree 120.jpgby bennettjamieComment: This is odd looking. I wonder what caused such a growth? Some of the highlights are nearly blown out. DOF is decent overall, though there is only one spot that seems to be in perfect sharp focus. It is the crack that is just a touch to the right and down from the center of the image. |

Ripples Abstract 086.jpgby bennettjamieComment: Neat looking. Did you do any adjustments on these pics? I have found that just minor curves adjustments usually make a huge visible difference on water shots. |

Prickly Thing 045.jpgby bennettjamieComment: I've shot some of these. You captured some good details, even the inside surface is visible through the openings. Composition is pretty good as well, perhaps just a touch too much empty space on the right for my own preferences. DOF is perfect for this subject. |

Fire and its Nemesisby sunny7Comment: I really like what you tried to capture here. Very cool. I don't think it quite worked in your photo, though. The reflections are cut off at the bottom of the frame, and the vertical composition is too centered. If you'd been able to get this at a slightly different angle and height, the improved composition plus a little post processing would really make an attention getting shot. |

Me - Re-edit by bennettjamieComment: I like this one more than the original, though both are good. The vignetting works. You've got a fantastic pretty smile in this one. |
