Sunriseby ErikVComment: Nice, you kept the sky to realistic levels of color, but still gave it a lot of pow factor.. |

Aydenby pearlseyesComment: Colors are somewhat on the weak side for a challenge like this, but a good portrait nonetheless. |

stripeby flyingsoloComment: I like the texture, but I find the shrubs distracting from the rest of the pattern. |

River Grassesby pointandshootComment: Nice work with all those rich brown tones. I think brown is a tough color to do as the dominant color, but you nailed this one.
I think a landscape crop without the foreground grasses may have been better comp for it, though |

Frozen sunriseby tomzComment: Now this is the sort of shot I was expecting to see lots of, but few were able to achieve. I tried a similar perspective myself, but I don't think mine will score nearly as well as I know this will. |

Lost Riverby riversongComment: It seems a little tilted, but otherwise I like this. The curve of the river leads one right to the cleft in the mountains. |

Forgotten daysby JudiComment: I can swear I voted on this same bridge yesterday. Of course, there are many folks who go out shooting together.
I really like the detail and appearance of the bridge, but the comp just is not working for me. My eye is drawn away from the subject. I find my eye flows from the upper right, down the bridge to an empty bank with little interest.
If this is some thing close to you that you can go back to, I would love to see some other perspectives on tis bridge. |

Under a little bridgeby FocusPointComment: The grain almost makes this look like an illustration, which I like. I'm not sure the narrow slice of the bridge at the top of the frame works, though. |

Neponset Bridgeby scarab440Comment: A different view may have worked better. I think the modern office building behind it hurts the look, and the most fascinating part, the drawbridge mechanism, is barely visible in the frame.
Lot of JPEG compression artifacts showing around the edges of the buildings. You used only about 1/3 of the allowable file size and a much smaller pixel size than was allowed for this challenge (200k and 720 pixels). Lowering the compression amount and using a larger image size would improve image quality. |
