Before the HMO's by notesinstonesComment: Love this interpretation of the theme! I find the picture good, though a touch dark. However, that darkness draws my eye to the aloe vera plant. |

Guilelessby michelle232Comment: Could be considered a shoehorn by some, but the title clearly explains your interpretation of this theme. I'm afraid don't care for this one however. The lighting seems harsh and the look on her face is not appealing. The hidden mouth dopes not help either. Sorry to be so hard on a shot that is probably of your kid. |

"Home Theater System"by quicksnapsComment: Very good use of contrast. Got the lighting just right to show all that great crinkled texture on the projector. Comp works too, my eye is drawn up to the projector lens. |

Lightby hazeComment: A nice image, maybe a little too soft for me. I'm not really sure what to make of it. |

Old railwaysby McJamweaselComment: I see some advantage being taken of that golden sunlight at the end of the day. A few minutes earlier an perhaps the whole pole would have been highlighted in sun. |

My first camara setupby boss351Comment: That was one of my first cameras as well. Used it through my teenage years. I have another one now as part of my collection, though it's not my original one. The focus knob on these is notoriously difficult to turn.
If you saw "Sky Captain & the World of Tomorrow" this was also Polly's camera in that movie.
I knew I was going to see some nice old cameras in this challenge and yours was the first shot I voted on. Congrats! |

Ruby-crowned Kingletby BeeCeeComment: Neat view and crop on this. Perfect blue sky. file size is a little low. You could have used less JPEG compression and perhaps gotten a touch more detail. Maybe. But you should always set compression to come in just under the limit for a challenge. |
