I could not agree more with the title. Nice stop motion of the smoke. I don't care for the square crop on this, but that's just me.

*cough-cough*! I like this. My only quibble is the top of the cloud cut off like that seems almost like cutting off the top of a persons head in the frame.

The billowing smoke cutting across the bold sunset works well. The kyaker is almost lost in the pattern, and there appears to be a minor skew on the waterline as well. Zooming in on the factory more may have highlighted the pollution point.

Good comp. The street leads my eye right up to those smoking factories. Perhaps framing the factories just a touch higher in the frame might help it a little. Nice use of strong contrast as well.

Simple and bold. I like the strong contrast of the green can on blue. Image size is a bit smaller than what you could have used for this challenge(640 pixels).

I would not have thought this illustrated pollution without the title. Image is a little soft. Caused by the long exposure no doubt. The starry sky looks great!
