Bouquetby doctabrezComment: Highlights are a little blown out. That may have been an intentional editing choice. Hard to tell for sure. |

The MMM.... Colorsby emily212Comment: Good, but needs a little noise removal and sharpening. You've also lost a serious amount of detail to JPEG compression. Your file is only 37k, when you could have used 150k. Compression kills detail. Check the settings for it in your editing applications save file dialog. |

Natural Primary Colorsby vtruanComment: Lovely scene, but I think there is too much detail crammed into it. I don't know if the subject is the brush or the mountain. Hope that makes some sense, I thought it was important to leave you a reason for a mid range vote on a beautiful scene like this. |

You wanna fight?!by Hey_You_3000Comment: No vote from me, since I know whose entry this is. But it does get a comment.
I like the color and detail in this. Wonderful warm pink. The background detail is good, but not distracting from the main subject. It's an interesting shot of an animal that is not normally photographed in such an agitated state.
The comp does not quite flow right, though. Too much space in the upper left area that does not add to the scene. I would suggest a moderately tighter crop, in order to position the Flamingo's head according to the rule of thirds. |

Spring into Warmth!by d_tierney24Comment: I see a texture pattern on the red one and ragged edges on the yellow. Are these fake plants or am I seeing something else? Still good, nonetheless. |

Blood Orangesby jjsmomComment: Quite a bit out of focus, I'm afraid. I'm sure that's already been said, as I am voting fairly late. A macro of the orange pulp would make an interesting texture. |

The Heart of Every Childby JEasonComment: JPEG police here... Your file size is only 42k. You lost a lot of detail to compression. Check the settings for compression level when you save your file, you want to save the file as close to the limit as possible, without going over it. (150k for a basic editing challenge)
Glad to see you over here in the fray. Just wear your thickest skin and don't take it too seriously. |
