A lot of visible artifacts in the background. Some noise reduction would have helped make it a bit smoother. Also some JPEG compression is taking away detail. Your file is half the size that was allowed. Check your compression settings in your image editor, and always save as close as possible to the Kb limit for the challenge..

File size is only 51k, it compressed well because of the large black background, but you may have been able to squeeze some more detail in the subject if you had used less compression. No obvious artifacts, however, and it's pretty darn good. (I'm just the JPEG police is all it is!)
