EVENescenceby thewhiteafricanoComment: I see I am not the only person who failed to see the connection to the challenge in this one. It does have two flowers hanging on the end, and I overlooked that element. I think what happened here is that the clever title overpowered the image. |

Odd Angleby Moose408Comment: Man you have gotten good in a hurry! Congrats! I knew I would be one of the few to critique this. |

WW 2 Planeby CamComment: A great shot. I love the perspective and colors. I have a major critique however, and I will likely be the only one to notice it.
Your file size is only 47k when you could have used up to 150k. This indicates a lot of JPEG compression, which is taking a lot of detail out of your photo. I can clearly see compression artifacts in the sky around the edges of the cowling and propeller. Check the JPEG compression settings in your image editor and always try to save as close to the limit for a challenge as you can get it without going over. the photo itself is still great and it gets a 7 from me, but would have been an 8 or 9 without the compression problem. |

odd one outby hghaleComment: I hope this is a brown ribbon effort. If it was not, I will be happy to take the time to explain what is wrong here, after the challenge. |

One's not like the others...by chris48083Comment: A snapshot, I'm afraid. The composition is decent, but the shot lacks sharpness and the white balance seems off. The backlighting is a problem as well. If this were taken at another time of day it would have likely been much improved. |

Odd Self Imageby beelzComment: The b/w is effective for this. I think it enhances the cracks in the glass. |

Seven Deadheads at Sunsetby sulamkComment: Stark and bold. I really like the way you kept the sunset colors restrained and subtle. It's always tempting to crank the colors up. An 8 and a fave. |
