Dinnertimeby everclear25Comment: Oh, cool. Nice take on the theme. (Could be breakfast though...) I'm curious how well this will do with everyone else, being a creepy bug shot. |

Cobblestone Walkby MAKComment: Looks like Deutschland to me... Though it could possibly be the UK as well. wonderful glow coming from those streetlamps. The two people on the edge are a bit of a problem. They are there, but don't really seem to be part of the scene. Not something I think you had huge control over, and the scene is otherwise very nice. |

Michigan Summer Eveningby Millere81979Comment: I'm not carting for this one, I'm afraid. I think it may be the very narrow band of shoreline with no detail to it, but It's really hard to nail it down. |

8:37 p.m.by halopesComment: I'm going to have to skip the vote on this one, since I know whose it is. Really great silhouette, however. Almost looks like a tree from a Dr. Suess book. |

Stormy eveningby libertyComment: You definitely captured the look of an impending storm. Maybe a slight bump in colors would give it a little more impact, but it's good. |

Gone home for the eveningby Hey_You_3000Comment: Looks familiar...
No vote from me on this since I know whose it is. I can still see some grainy noise in the sky on this using the calibrated monitor at work. It's noticeable, but not really bad. I'm curious if others will mention it. If this were advanced editing you could have cleaned that noise up without hurting the rest of the image. |

A days endby SkotnicznyComment: Lots of posterization in the sky, which is really hard to avoid in a shot like this.
Your file size of only 64k indicates a highly compressed image and that is robbing a lot of the detail from this image. I can see a lot of blocky compression artifacts in the grass and around the edges of the trees. Check your compression settings when you save your file. Always adjust JPEG compression so that your file size is as large as possible, but within the challenge limit. (150k for this one)
It is a good scene, but the previously mentioned technicals hurt it, I'm afraid. |
