I think this may be cropped with the snake head a touch too far over in the corner. A slightly different crop and bumping up the colors a bit would really make this one pop.

I like the way the water drops seem to amplify the red. There's a bit of noise grain in the OOF background. Not sure if there is much you can do for it under basic rules, though.

Maybe if I was a football fan, this would have more appeal to me. It comes off to me as one of those shots that is good, but still does not appeal to me much. Wish I could nail that down better for you.

What kind of cherries are these? The pic seems to have a bit of a yellow cast to it, and a bit dull in the color department. I think it just needs some adjustments to make it pop a bit.

I think this is one of my faves of this challenge so far. I like seeing interesting shots of ordinary subjects. You caught some great light on this and it just jumped off the screen at me. My only nitpick is that the band that is in focus seem to transition between blurry and sharp a bit abruptly. It's hard to really judge how that will come across while in-camera. Hope this is pulling in a good score for you. A fave and a 8.
