Other than a little tilt (easily corrected) this is a nice capture of what many of us wake up to. I don't think it has the wow factor to score well overall, but you did well for what it is, and you avoided oversaturating it.

Umm, a number of things...
a) what's "straight" about the contents of this image?
B) use the full 640 pixels available on at least one side of the image
C) It's somewhat on the backlit side, but it's an interesting action pose, and the silhouette could normally be considered a creative choice. However, the rest of the image says "snapshot" to me. Some fill flash could have helped it.

I'm not totally sure about this shot. It has a lot of potential, but I think the focal point where my eye is led is too high. Perhaps a bit of a color cast to it as well, from fluorescent lighting.

I got curious and popped it into my photo editor. Some levels, curves, WB, and contrast really brought out some nice detail in the stairs and chrome rails, giving this some pleasing dimension and pop.

Almost an abstract image. I'm not sure if I like this or not. I think I like the shot itself, but I think the processing of it does not bring out the nice details of the weathered concrete like it needs to. Woudl love to see some alternate edits of this if you have any.
