awe inspiringby Thaddeus_SmithComment: Looks like another of the team effort I have seen several similar entries of already. I like this one, but would suggest cropping it to put the person off center a bit. |

Oops Too Lateby togtogComment: If this is not an entry from CharlieBaker it is someone inspired by him...
Excellent idea though. In spite of having to give this a low vote, you also get my blue shoehorn for the unexpected humor. Nice job.
I see a little bit of grainy ISO noise towards the bottom. You may want to run a noise reduction plugin on your future lenscap shots.
Added: I may want to calibrate the monitor on the Mac in the spare bedroom. Looks like a solid black here on my usual system. I lowered my vote on this, as it is certain to be a brown effort and I wanted to help you out. |

Winter Sunsetby GeeeComment: Seems a bit soft and the blacks of the trees are not quite silhouetted on the screen I am on. I will make sure to look at this one again on my other monitor before rollover, just to be fair.
Added: Looks better on my usual monitor, though it still seems a bit soft on the details.
Levels can be a useful adjustment to make sure that a silhouette shows as such. Just clip the low end of your histogram a little and that will ensure it is all black and not a range of dark grey, almost-blacks. |

Sunrise in the Mountainsby chaliceComment: I see some artificial grayness that may be the result of trying to pull details from a backlit scene. I'm also on a spare computer which does not have the better monitor on it. I'll have to see how this looks form the other one in a few...
Added: Looks better on my other computer, but still shows some evidence of almost lightening some areas a touch too much, particularly the shrubs in the middle of the frame. |
