Taking a Ride Downtownby crikComment: Nice near-silhouette. Not sure if the tilt adds anything to the image, but it does not detract from it either. |

Sloped Pasturesby ButterflyGirlComment: Nice landscape, but the tilt seems incidental to make it meet the challenge. I don't feel it adds anything to the composition. |

gas oilby chusterComment: Though involved in gas, this would not be see AT a gas station. I'm sure I am not the first with that nitpick. |

And You Thought 7s Were Luckyby eaglebeckComment: Not sure there is anything I can suggest. It's coming off to me as a snapshot, but I can tell you the biggest problem is the high midday sun. I have found that I have better results with midday sun by focusing on detail shots instead of broad overall scenes. |

Fading with ageby kingskingdomComment: I can see the look you were trying for, but It's not coming off well for me. I think the biggest part is the wideangle curvature within a frame of this shape. |

Texaco Starby Danger_WeaselComment: No vote, comment only. However, you get the same nitpicky comment I would give if I didn't know whose entry it was. (I did warn you to wear a thick skin on this site, didn't I?)
Nice strong perspective, great detail, and I like the strong clouds. It may be a bit too centered, but that's just a personal preference. |

Going Greenby gunsmith6Comment: Nice, but i see an excessive amount of JPEG artifacts showing. Your file size of only 74k indicates a highly compressed image and that is what is robbing a lot of the detail and sharpness from this image. Check your compression settings when you save your file. Always adjust JPEG compression so that your file size is as large as possible, but within the challenge limit. (150k for this one) |

Smiling gas station ownerby kakaoporComment: I was prepared to low vote this as a shoehorn from the thumbnail view, but she DOES have a gas station on her shirt. Fits the challenge in a unique way, IMO. |

66 linesby bvlindalouComment: I like the play of lines with the overhead wires that would normally be a distraction in a photo. Some adjustments to give it a more eye-popping red might make it more DPC-friendly. |

The Good 'Ol Daysby dpattersonComment: I'm losing count of how many times I have seen this gas station in this challenge! Looks like you were all there at different times, however.
Biggest issue I see is some visible tilt that can be corrected under basic rules. The pole is a composition problem, but hey, that's what the place looks like, can't do much about it. |
