In All Their Gloryby Shan2112Comment: Looks like the one on the left is talking. I imagine these American eagles are telling each other political jokes. |

Traditionby malumComment: Nice perspective and the night lighting works well here. Except for that building, but it's part of what's there. |

Oh Yeaby vtruanComment: Very nice action shot. The first thing that grabbed my eye was the doohickey holding his nostrils shut. A nose full of water does not sound fun, however! |

Flooded parking lot reflectionby nitro102Comment: Looks like the cotton candy machine at the state fair exploded! This is one of those shots that would look nearly the same flipped upside down. |

Beauty and Her Shadowby michaelmonnComment: Beauty fades with time. Nice point. It's an interesting composition, with the subject way off on the side and a fair amount of negative space on the left, but it works for this one. A bit shallower on the DOF than I am partial to (Hey, it's a macro of a very small flower!), but that fine fuzz on the flower is nice and sharp. I like the fine fuzz. |

Trustby LynnSComment: I'm not a horse person myself (I'm a cat lover, actually) but this is a sweet shot. I do have to make a nitpick about the blown highlights on her face, however. Midday sun is tough. There are some good adjustment techniques using layers, that can help pull in some of those highlights if they are not totally blown. |

The Thinker by LuDeLushComment: Manny gives some serious thought to the question that has stumped philosophers for generations: "Do I want that L lens, or would I rather eat?" |
