There is a LOT of pixelation visible in this pic. I wasn't sure if it was an intentional effect or not, so I had a look at the image size. 159k is a reasonable file size for a monochrome image of this size, but, it also appears to be suffering from the effects of extreme JPEG compression. Always use the least compression you can and still fit the image into the challenge limits. If that is an intentional effect, (perhaps you were shooting through a fabric?) then I misinterpreted what I saw.

Less abstract than most of the entries, however it does meet my criteria for abstract: it is mainly a study of shapes, colors(shades in the case of b/w) and textures. Good work on this. There is a bit of visible banding in the sky, however.
