Beautiful colors and the tension created by the opposing flowers is great. The colors are vibrant and clear. I like this photo very much. Maybe a touch more DOF but maybe not.

Reflections

I love colors and the painterly look of the leaves. Has a muted look of a wash over the top and might not let the image pop as much as it could. I really, really like this photo so I don't know if I'd change it or not. As for the reflections without mirrors challenge I would have voted highly.

Blizzard

Beautiful snow falling on cedars kind of look. OK, snow falling on cars, but the other is a movie title and I like the sound of it better then the latter. Looks like some big flakes and a lot of window cleaning to do. The quietness of the snow is something I really love. Lovely wintry scene.

It looks like you have a really big pool. Must be several Olympic sized pools together. The light on the snow really warms the photo and brings the eyes over the pool and through the fields. The light in the grasses is lovely. You capture the light side of scenes very well.

Day 17 - Cowboat

From the title I am thinking that this is a Cow Boat for transporting cows across or up and down the river, it is very utilitarian. The icy water is wonderful with the yellow grains reflecting on it. Great details of the cut grass or grains in the foreground and the tall ones with brush and trees on the other side. Why did the cow cross the river in a boat?

They probably are back to $.25 once again, sorry to say. Books lose value so quickly and sadly. It is great to see an old bookstore still thriving in this day and age of impersonal big stores.
