For this one shot, having the subject "pose" may have helped have sharper focus on the hand, and perhaps the rest of the body. The power lines, while normally not bothersome to me, are very distracting.

When taken within the context given with teh title, it almost seems that since the powerlines can mean communication, he is not really alone.
