House for Sale 5.1 Million dollarsby whiterookComment: Interesting concept, I shoot MLS listings for Trend so this entry caught my eye. Around here, that house would list for approx $750,000. But I would have eliminated the street sign and fire hydrant, a frontal view would have worked better. ;-) |

Who's there? by timfythetooComment: Not sure why this took first place, it's burned out and not very interesting. Hmm |

Su by De SousaComment: Should have taken the blue IMO. Very creative and imaginative, extremely well done. Keep up the good work! |

slow freezingby AmasonComment: Not bad, perhaps a faster shutter would have brought out more of the detail. It's a little soft in my opinion, the foreground snow mound is burned out. Perhaps a different angle would have worked better.

Catch a Falling Star by colorcarnivalComment: Congrats on the ribbon. I just don't see the impact here, it's a veritably weak image compared to many of the other entries. |

Moonlight Sonata by LalliSigComment: The falls is totally out of focus and the ice is over sharpened.
This would have been a nice composition had you concentrated more on one specific area. The sky is nice but it doesn't fit the rest of the composition. Perhaps a 15 sec shutter would have worked better.
I'm surprised this took first place. |

Wintertime in Elbow Fallsby EisbaerComment: In my opinion, you should have won first place. Your entry is more professionally executed in both composition and quality than the current first place winner.
Keep up the good work and better luck next time! |
