wally in the liftby rozComment: Fascinating! The overlay gives this a surreal quality. Your red/orange striped t-shirt draws my eye. Interesting composition! |

Moonsetby GermaineComment: The moon sitting midpoint is just enough to capture your attention and the dead palm frond points back down again. Good contrast of detail. Very nice. |

Ben and Leoby rozComment: Cute portrait, this is something you'll want to save for your memory book. The look on the little guy's face is priceless. |

they dance a ritual of summer breezesby mitalapoComment: Thoughts of summer surf and sun, ahhhhh.
Just saw Roz's post.. took another look and realized there's a person behind the guy. Very tricky! I should have noticed that but it was getting late and I overlooked it. Should have realized by the title. Message edited by author 2019-03-25 13:58:01. |

Fire 2009 After 4 Monthsby MargaretNetComment: Look at that! That's amazing how the new foliage is growing right out of the tree trunks. Never saw anything like that before. Thanks for sharing. |

Mar 24 - Bloomingby hajekaComment: Sweet bloom! At least you have one bloom. The only blooming florals around here are the snowdrops which are like a ground cover. |

Mar 22 - Lineby hajekaComment: Nice vanishing point. Everything takes your eye to the furthest point. The approaching train adds a nice side point to bring you back again. The soft monotone works well for this. |

Whittier Fire Burn Area ("Fire Out" + 14 months)by wbanningComment: That's a beautiful minimalist-style capture. The clouds in the open sky frame the tree below that appears to be struggling to stand tall once again in spite of the high tension wires. I think this looks perfect in monotone. |
