Wow, that's an awesome action capture. I love the disconnected-ness. You've totally killed yourself by saving a 33kb JPEG...you could have/should have bumped up the quality, maybe you could have avoided the artifacts. I wonder what it would look like in B&W, since the colour on the rider is almost lost in the shadows.

I like the high contrast, although it has cost you a lot of shadow and highlight detail. May have been overcropped, which leads to a "mushy pixel" feeling. I like the clouds and the composition.

This is a very challenging scene to photograph. Obviously, your skiy has been blown out, leading to some bad purple fringing. Other than that, you've resized the image below the minimum guidline for the challenge (640px on either side). I do like the composition, you probably should have zoomed in with your feet on this one.
