Your sky is extremely over-exposed, leading to a horrible greyish tone to the entire image. It could also use some sharpening. I think you may want to meter off the sky next time to avoid the "blown" highlights.

The lighting left much to be desired. It almost looks as if this was taken through a pane of glass...the focus also seems off. Maybe you were zoomed in too far?
