Water Bugsby sjonniComment: The compostion of the clusters of people in the sort of 'empty' water is what I like, interesting too the water is white, nice shades and tones and still did not have any overexposed parts. good job |

Contrast courtesy of The Heavensby Firstrich1Comment: Good timing and nerves of steal to capture this shot. (I tend to hide under my bed or at least covers when thunder and lightening occur : ) ). Good contrast between the lightening and the dark house. Just curious about the blueish line over the house, is that another lightening strike or a reflection in camera. |

prey by grigrigirlComment: Great contrasts, in colors and in themes. I like the stark bird and tombstone against the billowing and imposing clouds. This shot could easily be in a horror film to add ambience. Really nice work |

Happinessby rll07Comment: If this were my child I would pay money for this shot. The light in her eye, the natural smile, wonderful freckles, great tones in the shot. An excellent capture IMO. Also blurred background very well. Not completely sure about the contrast, I am assuming the colors, works for me. good work : )

Lines and Swirlsby NatashaComment: The pool of water is a great point of interest IMO. I like your idea with the circles on the bottom but find it a little 'too white', perhaps a slight shade darker? But what do I know. |

Back to Back - Old to Newby danwanComment: I like your contrasts in subject suits challenge well, my only criticism would be the lighting in front of truck is too bright. A mid-day shot I suspect. |

light as feathersby shutterflyComment: I think what works for me in your photo is that the colors of the feathers and of your background are pretty much the same shades, produces a monotone feel (even though i see it is not one color : ) ) The similarities in color also help the feathers look like they are floating which gives it a light airy feel, hence supporting your title nicely, nice shot. |

A Little Dance for the Lordby SonifoComment: well i just commented and does not seem to have gone through...grrrr...
any way I really like the movement and exuberance your shot conveys. Not only in the girl but the sky seems to have that feel too, nice capture. |

New Dawnby moodvilleComment: For me what makes your sunset it the way it is framed between the two rock pillars, there foreboding strength in the foreground giving way to the gentleness of the warm sunset colors.
Makes me think it is a good analogy for life and nature, has both a harsh and soft side. good eye to capture it. |

Still aliveby heidaComment: Well, you've probably captured one of the biggest contrasts 'life' has to offer. I really like the distance of the man to the tombstones, And while I wish he were a little closer so I could see expression a bit more, he looks hesitant to me, as if death were perhaps contagious so not wanting to get too close. I think you have also done well to capture the pensive and reflectiveness one experiences while at a grave. nice work. |
