_R_by MikeOComment: A big thank you for all your comments and an extra thank you to Sally for making it a favourite.
The tail bugged me also ! I had entered another shot of this robin but pulled it and put this one in place. This little chap was very happy for me to shot him , even flash did not put him off, however he did hop around a lot an move from tree to tree so it was quite difficult to get a clear shot of him. I will post some of the other shots later.
thanks again
Mike

Practice Loudlyby handicapjoeComment: Loved this ! B&W works here, colour would not, I knew this would not please the majority here but dont change the way you take pictures to please the masses. |

Yeh the sleve of his shirt was brighter than I wanted but I could not darken it anymore or I would have lost detail from his face and the rest of his shirt - sort of compromise. Message edited by author 2008-01-08 17:25:09. |

Avery overexposed and corrected during editby twade1Comment: I liked this shot, as you have probably noticed it will not please most of the people here - if it is not sharp and perfectly exposed you will get negative feedback. However there are a good number of people here who look at photos differently and appreciate the efforts of people like yourself.
Edit to add - dont apologise for your style of photography, shoot how you want to shoot and dont worry what others may say. Message edited by author 2008-01-08 11:37:10. |
