So close to a 'great' shot! The long exposure blur is delicious here against the formal architectural rigour. The sign (Mgmt. Office) adds a (needed?) topical reference. Did you use a tripod?

Comment:
Thought upon looking at this capture repeatedly (and not too fleetingly): the capture (by my evaluation) would lend itself perfectly to a serial shoot. Consider the blue and hemlock without the 'gorge' on the right, then its mirrored variables, followed by the above...

Thanks for such a visual treat.

The illusory effect of the concave/convex planes is interesting enough. I wonder, if this was intended or 'trouvee'?

-What I've learned from this capture is how simple/conservative composition can promote study (by slowing the viewing).

Frankly, perhaps not a 'great', coz it's a 'limited' albeit 'topical' pleasure. On the other hand, I can see how hard it is to resist taking it. :-) The colours are just 'wild' together. Eat your heart out IKEA!

Considering the nature of the bulk of available submissions under this topic, how refreshing to find one with a 'range' extending beyond 'topicality'. In other words, it can 'hold it's own', and will remain a great shot even after this challenge is over.

I'm so happy with this photo, I don't even mind the velcro! :-)

I can't make up my mind, if the overly sharp and grainy effect contributes to or diminishes this capture...

Also, for a blast of a statement, I'd rather see an non-manicured fist, perhaps one belonging to a child or even the weatherworn fist of a peasant?

Nice the way the coils run in and out of the frame.

Although I can see the reason for choosing duotone, perhaps, the content could have been enhanced by a natural (colour) skin tone??
