Yes. Well said, few words.
On seeing the final score here, I nearly feel shame. |

Street in the old townby setechaComment: My favourite capture so far... I like the effects chosen for this classic setting, "including the noise". But hell, I would have roled the trash cans a block or two away! > 6 |

Dead-end Streetby ThomasComment: An extra point for finding beauty, where, obviously, none was intended. Aedequately crisp and well lighted. |

Brussel's "Grand Place" 2 AM Mondayby rhipsterComment: Good capture, despite the faint crane in the background, lens artifacts and some of the details (spire) lost to darkness. The horizon line also seems a little too pitched to be natural (?). |

Night Walkerby catpixelComment: One of the more exciting shots in this challenge. Love the dynamic created by the diagonal theme (of composition/framing/details). The motion blur 'jazzes' this up very nicely and appropiately, given the topic.
The orange tungsten is a bit too pervasive perhaps, and without 'any' sharp definition inside the capture, it fails, IMHO, to satisfy an eye accustomed to an anchor point.
Still, one of the better photographs here. |

Are You Kidding Me? by sagestudioComment: Wild!
Wonderful, hilarious (insane?) capture/expression. The perspective (in the face!) would not be my personal preference, since it may suggest 'complicity' on part of the photographer :-D.
I'm left curious about any unrevealed gestures and/or body language that may have prompted this shot in the first place.
Given the 'acute' sense the subject communicates, I wonder if the 'light' background sets the appropiate mood. The way it is rendered here, we're more 'hilariously' afflicted than frightened, which would, IMO, have increased the impact. > 6

Calamity In 1881by TarbiniComment: The subject is a lil too overexposed for my liking. The 'form' of the gravestone feels 'forced' into the picture by the composition.
Considering this wonderful find, I would have deemed it worthwhile to return here at a different time of day (or night) to observe the light and to retake the shot under more suitable conditions...
Yet, an extra point for the story provided. |

What are those white stuff and what for?by kenboComment: I believe they're prayers...
Not a 'great' photograph, but an interesting and worthwhile capture, which, IMO, would gain interest with a much shallower dof (redundant info = background blurred, darkened or otherwise rendered unobtrusive) to emphasize the subject.
PS: no plural for 'stuff'. |
