A shallow viewby HighNoonerComment: The DOF chosen works well with this image however I feel the angle of the shot is letting it down. Slightly more straight on the cover of the magazine I think would work better. |

You know, the drill...by splidgeComment: Colours and shapes are nice however I feel you've chosen a DOF that is too shallow. Also, a perspective that is more direct (straight down the drill bit) may have more impact. |

Ok, You Got Meby wsteynComment: Love the pose and expression. You seem to have chosen the right amount of DOF and managed to place it well. The little guy seems a bit too central thow. With this pose I think having him a little lower and to the right would work better. |

the sun in the shellby dkComment: Love the chosen DOF. You've left just enough detail in the background to give context to the image. Wonderful lighting on the shell. My only beef is the apparent red colour cast. |
