MOOby KIKIComment: This is a tough challenge. All of your subjects are very dark and fill about 1/3 of the image. If you used an averge metering method, which I suspect since the foreground and background are nicely exposed, your subjects will be under exposed. One solution here would be to use a different vantage point to eliminate some of the bright background and spot meter on the area you want to expose for. Also, using and ND or polarizing filter might help. |

Mallard & Friendby DianaComment: A different vantage point, such as at duck level, could possibly give this photo more impact and appeal. |

Sunbathing Beeby LucidPhoenixComment: Depth of field seems to be slightly out of place. The wasp's forward attena is out of focus but part of the leaf behind the wasp is in focus. Stepping back just a step (baby step) would probably have helped here. |

Yummby photogirl66Comment: The depth of field seems a little shallow. I don't think there would be a problem with your subject getting away if you stopped down the lense (smaller aperture, larger number) and adjusted the shutter speed accordingly. This would allow you to possibly get both attenae in focus. Also change your vantage point could help with this as well. |

Cowby peterdehaanComment: Your Heilin' Coo is a little under exposed. Spot metering on the cow may have helped. |

Buzzing off homeby UberFishComment: Nicely done. The only thing I would suggest to improve the image would be to give the bee more space to fly into. |

One day I'll fly awayby pesinnComment: It appears that your light source has overexposed the foreground and has given the duck redeye. The only suggestion I could make for this would be to reduce the power of the light source or back away. Due to the subject matter, a longer exposure with no extra light source is not an option. |

Majesticby JackoComment: Exposure is good. To get even more impact the image could have been cropped closer around the head on all sides except the left or more of the body could be included to balance the amount of sky. |
