The Guitarby ElCarniceroComment: Interesting photo... I believe that you have a glare in the upper portion of the photo... If you had shot this from a little different angle, it would have taken care of the glare, introduced some more depth to the photo and accented the indentions in the side of the instrument, adding some more 'curve' to your work :) |

phi (and the proportions of nature)by magnetic9999Comment: This is a difficult image to comment on... Let me start by saying that it's one of my 4 finalists. I LOVE the raw simplicity of this photo. The contrast is excellent and I just can't say much more about it other than I'm scoring it a 9. |

The Largest Integer is Evenby ReubenComment: This photograph offers a unique perspective. I would like it much more if the fence links were in focus rather than the ground below it. This type of shot usually requries some manual focus and a thin depth of field. Another curiosity that catches my attention here is that the lines (or perceived lines) in this photo distract from the curves.... |

valleyby bobgaitherComment: This is a very nice landscape photo. I really like the waterfall in the center... The only reason I'm not scoring this one higher is because I don't really see the 'curve' effort in the shot... |

Magical Curvesby David EyComment: Let me start this comment by saying WOW! The composition and lighting of this photo are fantastic. I spent about 10 minutes looking at this photo. I'm not going to make any negative comments here because I can't think of any. Score: 9 |

Bottledby mciComment: Now that i'm down to my final 20 images, the scores will be getting much better :) I love the color and contrast in this photo. The bottle curves are excellent. This is an interesting perspective on a bottle... I would have expected to see it in a portrait orientation rather than landscape but the off-center perspective of this adds to the quality of the photo. The only thing I don't like about the image is that the top of the bottle is too close to the top of the frame to suit me. I like a little breathing space but that's just my opinion... Kudos! = 9 |

Colorful Vasesby BambooChicaComment: I like the colors and the curves in this photo but I would like it much better if the focus on the right side of the frame was a little sharper... |

Musical Curvesby AnAUTigerComment: Greetings from another guitarist! I like your photograph. I think a little more depth of field (higher number aperture setting) would have enhanced this photograph. The guitar neck and close strings are a little out of focus. I started with a guitar photograph myself and elected not to use it because the strings, neck, and fret straight lines distracted from the curves on the guitar.... |

A Sinewave Orangeby PauloComment: This photo appears to be slightly out of focus and a little on the BRIGHT side. I would like this photo better if there was an extra row of tiles around the outside so that the oranges on the left and right sides weren't so close to the edge of the frame. |
