Traditionally, i have not been a fan of 'toy' photos... but you have done a very nice job of photographing this toy and creating this composition with the shadow. A little extra depth of field may have added some more impact to this shot as well.. good shot! - jmsetzler

I see the shadows in this photo, yet they are not adding anything interesting or special to the overall impact of the image... With 'shadows' being the subject of this challenge, I feel that the shadows should be playing some definite role in the image...

This is one of my favorites this week for sure... The depth of field is phenomenal and i really love the touch of adding an extra 'weed' or whatever this is into the shadow... I wish I could make photos this nice... great shot! = 10 - jmsetzler

Very nice shadows! i think this would have also been nice with some colored lighting possibly :) The could have also produce some neat effects if lit by candle. The only flaw I see that really catches my eye is the diagonal shadow line across the lower left of the frame. Maybe a tighter crop? Good work! - jmsetzler

This is a lovely composition... I love the lighting and shadow effects on this photo. My only minor complaint on this photo is that I think it needs just a little bit more breathing room on the top and bottom of the frame. i think the same amount that you have on the left would be great on the top and bottom as well... excellent shot! = 9
