I like it! I love the color and concept on this shot... I think the exposure may be a little hot, but the overall image impresses me quite a bit. The only minor details that I think could be better in this image are the exposure and the tilt to the right on the glass. Im guessin that correction on both of those would probably score an extra point or maybe two. Good shot! = 8 - jmsetzler

I would like to thank everyone for the great comments on this photo. I’m not going to go into details about it here because I have prepared a “How’d They Do That” for the site. The only brief comments that I wish to make are: 1) I wish I had known about the Popular Photography photo before I did this. I would have used my other idea instead, which is shown in my “How’d They Do That” article. 2) The Popular Photography photo was NOT my inspiration for this shot. The photos that inspired this shot are listed in my article as well. My objective was to produce a BETTER image than the ones I listed. 3) I don’t believe that duplicating ideas that others have already done is wrong in any way. If this was the case, every photographer who photographs the Eiffel Tower or the White House would have to give credit to the first person who did it, right? J

I spend too much time looking at photography online. Because of this, I see quite a few photos that are duplicated ideas. I don’t hold that against the photographer. Cheers to all, and I hope everyone who celebrated Independence Day in the US had a safe and happy weekend J
