tossed over an old fenceby owennnnComment: Hmmm... I struggle with photos like this one... I can't tell if you were making an honest effort to participate competitively in the challenge or not... your title conflicts with the image... are the dead leaves the subect of 'old' here or is it the invisible 'old' fence suggested by the title? - jmsetzler |

A bit of home...by magus1Comment: are these people old? The man in the solid white shirt looks older than the rest... maybe he should have been the focus of the effort rather than making a sepia toned image out of a normal snapshot. Maybe the 'culture' being displayed in this photograph is something 'old' that I don't understand... - jmsetzler |

Look At Me Againby quarxComment: this is a great photo... if the entire 'grain bud' was in focus, it would really punch.. just a bit more depth of field and you would nail this one :) - jmsetzler |

Needs a lil' paintby fsieradzkiComment: yup.. she needs a little paint :) I think the jpg compression monster may have snagged you some on this one.. there are a few jagged edges on the wires and the diagonals in this photo... - jmsetzler |

Forgottenby burlapComment: Interesting concept of 'old' :) This particular image may need a little more contrast to really punch harder... I also believe an angle other than straight on would add some depth to the image... - jmsetzler |

Fading Fastby GinaRothfelsComment: This is a well composed photo... the color adjustments just don't grab me... the colors seem to contradict with each other... - jmsetzler |

Finished by rcrawfordComment: Beautiful photo... one of the things i like about your composition here is the angle of the shot... this low angle does two things for me... 1 - it makes the tractor look larger... 2 - you have successfully hidden items in teh background that may have been distracting from the image... I also think your choice of toning works very well... good work :) - jmsetzler |
