compositionally, i love this photo... i love RED... you have done a very nice job of capturing the red in this image.... my critique is only on the background. I think that a lighter color background, like white possibly, would have created a beautiful contrast between the reds :) good work :) = 8 - jmsetzler

Originally, I did not like this photo. I scored it a 4 on my initial vote. As I look and then look again, there is something mysteriously interesting about this photo. I can't really put my finger on it. Since it has had this effect on me, I am going to score it an 8. This is great... it's definitely one of my favorites this week. The bent horizon here gives me the impression that these lemon slices are floating in space gazing down on the planet... Great shot.. I would love to hear about this technique... Im assuming water and glass are involved? = 10 - jmsetzler

very nice! This is an excellent and effective use of lighting. My only misunderstanding is how the title relates to the image... In most 'still life' images, there is no sense of motion... the grapes in the lower right seem to be in motion :) Great shot... = 9 - jmsetzler
