Interesting work :) The composition here is nice... I think that the directional lighting here works very well. The shadow here seems to be playing a rather major role, so accenting that shadow on a lighter background could possibly make a stronger image... also, letting this shadow stretch across the floor could create a neat effect also :) - setzler

I believe that a little toying with the exposure on this shot would make quite an improvement. Underexposing this one another stop or probably two would leave the deatail on the lit side of the egg intact and make the back side completely dark... great idea though :) - setzler

This photo has very little 'subjective' impact. "What" you choose to photograph is very important. It's half the battle. "How" you choose to photograph it is the other half. When you create a nice combination and balance between the two, you will have great shots :) I think you also may get burned here for 'multiple' light sources... - setzler
