what goes in....by matmanComment: I think this one should have been straightened up just a bit... subjectively, I don't care for it... objectively, its a good shot :) - setzler |

Guiding Lightby ioComment: This is a nice shot... I think the 'single artificial light source' may be in question on this one... - setzler |

Triscapeby FrooberComment: excellent shot... the composition here is great and I love the reflections... critique: the only thing I would have probalby attempted differently in this shot would have been to replace that yellow block with something less reflective. The yellow is reflecting much more of your light source and it's exposure level is a LOT hotter than the rest of the blocks. Instead of having a smooth eye transition across this photo, the eye is immediately drawn directly to the right side of the image. A good photogrpahy guideline is that your photo reads like a book... top down and left to right... (guideline, not rule!) Metering and evenly exposing a photo like this is difficult, but you have done a good job. Another note... did you look at this photo rotated 180°? Good work :) - setzler |

Morning Ivoryby dludlowComment: This is an interesting high-key shot... I'm not sure what the intention is though... The yellow tint doesn't give me a nice 'morning' feel as suggested by your title :) When I see piano keys, my mine automatically goes into the smooth black and white mode. It's sort of preprogrammed notions... :) - setzler |

clam by torchlightby fluffyComment: interesting use of light, but the image doesn't 'speak' to me. If you had not mentioned 'clam' in the title, I would have no clue :) - setzler |

Speaker's Lightby prkembyComment: This is an interesting image.... I think the focus here is offering something abstract that I can't see :( - setzler |

Ready For Halloweenby vestanpanceComment: I think that this photo would be much stronger if the focus was more crisp. Some of the detail created by your lighting is hiding in the blur... - setzler |
