Thirst Of Manyby auroraComment: Greetings from the Critique Club :)
Hi Aurora...
The composition on this photograph is good... I like the red color of the Coke can agains the dark background. Red always stands out very nicely.
The primary problem with this photo is the focus. There is no reason that I can see for it to be out of focus. Soft focus should add some interesting element to a photograph. This photo resembles product photography like you would see in a magazine. Sharp focus should be part of this image :)
Keep up the good effort :)

Other Sideby crabappl3Comment: excellent perspective shot... I really like the exposure effect on the lights here... it adds a 'mystical' theme to the tunnel :) - setzler |

Triangles?by jab119Comment: This is nice... i love architectural designs and the perspective here is excellent. I believe the blue may be a bit oversaturated.. it seems a little uneven.. not sure if that is from a saturation or a level adjustment... excellent shot :) - setzler |

Children make great photo subjects... especially for the 'cliche' challenge. The pose you selected for this shot also works very well to show some good emotion with the child.
The white balance on this shot seems to be a little strange. There is a good amount of yellow cast from your light source on the subject and on the background. If the camera would not correct this on its own, maybe a little bit of desaturation of the yellow channel in photoshop would correct this for you.
The bit of 'catch light' in her eyes is a nice element :)
The border on this shot is a bit overpowering for me. Your border creates strong contrasts in the image and they attract my eye away from the subject. I understand the effect of 'film' that you were trying to create, but I believe that a border should compliment the photo rather than become an element of it.
Keep up the good work :)

I've Bean Latte'd!!by smellyfish1002Comment: Greetings from the Critique Club :)
I think this is an excellent before and after shot... I particularly like the composition of the glass on the right side of the frame. The 'path' of the glass creates a nice leading line as well. The contrast of the glass against the bean background also adds a nice element to this photo.
The only area I can see for some possible improvement is the lighting... there is a strange gradient in the 'path' in the beans that looks slightly strange... I don't know if any additional depth of field would help that or not...
Keep up the great work :)
