Gin and Tonicby pinbackComment: Greetings from the Critique Club :)
Hi Pinback...
Congrats on a great 6th place finish... I would have loved to see this photo get a ribbon this week. This photo generates a good feeling... It definitely makes me smell and taste lemon on first glance. The tiny bubbles in the glass along with the nice yellow color of the lemons really create an image that is as refreshing as the drink itself :)
I have no suggestions for improving this photo because I like it just the way it is. I wouldn't change anything :)
Keep up the great work :)

Colorful Handfanby gigi922Comment: very nice color... the 'color' here seems to be just a little flat... maybe more light or a slightly longer exposure would pump it up a little :) - setzler |

Toolipby Ricky CleaveComment: interesting use of color... the vase could probably use a little more light... some detail there would help the composition a bit... - setzler |

Rotational Symmetryby HavokComment: Greetings from the Critique Club :)
Hi Yoshio...
The symmetry in your photos is good for this challenge. Subjectively, I believe that you chose good items to work with also. Simplicity is one of the finer elements of making great photographs in my humble opinion. When a composition is simple, it contains less elements that could be considered distracting and it allows you to create images that are more eye catching than your ordinary snapshots.
I am not a good person to critique this particular image. My personal tastes in photography are more traditional. In most cases, when I see photos that are post processed to this point, I usually just pass them by and don't give them much time. The post processing here goes beyond the realm of photography and enters the 'digital art' category for me. Keep in mind... this is just my personal preference and not that of many others.
Keep up the good work :)

"Let There Be Light"by TarbiniComment: compositionally nice... the push on the blue saturation also adds to this photo... subjectively, clouds don't really spark my interest... otherwise a nice photo :) - setzler |
