Your Mind's Eyeby alanfreedComment: this is neat, but i think it advertises an image that is normally illegal for challenge photos... |

sticker project 1c by jjbeguinComment: I really like the overall design of this... I don't particularly like the text under the logo but i think some rearrangement on that would work very well... great idea :) |

Dream Ride...by seasawComment: This is a really neat view but the color cast makes it look very odd. It looks quite unnatural... If that was your objecive, then you accomplished it well... I like chrome, but I think chrome does a nice job of creating nice abstract colors on it's own :) |

Leader of the Packby bjc0001Comment: I understand your 'transportation' theme in this photo... I don't think it's a strong theme for the challenge but alternative ideas are good also :) I don't care for your choice to put focus on the second car in this line rather than the first one... I'm not sure how that could help the photo overall. I also believe that a more solid background would help this image. This one appears to be suffering from post processing blues :) |

Traveling by boatby xertionComment: beautiful scene... the serenity and peacful mood of this image is nicely conveyed by the glasslike water and the cool sunset. In a scene like this, I feel the need to toss a rock in the water... disturb the peace a little... but NOT before I get my photo :)
Great shot... excellent :)

X-ray frames by kiwinessComment: This is really cool work :) This is one of the most imaginative pieces I have seen this week by far. The theme you have created here is definitely strong and the film frame concept works really well also. This one gets a ten solely on creativity and execution of your thoughts :) - setzler
PS - get rid of neatimage :)

Robinby gandersComment: Greetings from the Critique Club :)
Hi Pete...
This is a nice catch :) The framing and composition choice via your crop is strong. The bird is filling enough of the frame to create interest, and the 'pose' of the bird with his head turned is nice also. Sometimes it's possible to capture a good candid like this if they subject sits still long enough for you :)
I don't know what defined your 'crop' on this shot, but there could have been some opportunities to place the subject off center as well. The crop you mention is obviously for a reason and I'll assume that it was to cut some distractions out of the image :)
I like the flat color in this image. The bird and the background blend nicely but it still lets the bird stand out as a strong subject... The only issue I see with this photo is that I can't really determine why your subject is not tack sharp. It could have been from digital zoom, too small of a crop, or a host of other reasons, but if it was intentional, I personally feel that sharper would be better for this subject :)
Keep up the good work :)
