Hovering Hummingbirdby Strider64Comment: The border is more interesting than the photo in the fact that the blue and brown, neither of which exist within the image, argue attention away from the subject. |

Cape Spear Lightby KarenNfldComment: This is an excellent photo, but I just wanted to make a brief comment on the composition. I'm not sure how this could be corrected within your shooting environment either. The only point of discomfort within this composition is the point at which the horizon and your subject come together. This feeling is reminiscent of the water horizon cutting off the head of a person on the beach or lake shore. This composition would be significantly stronger with the horizon line either above the top of the lighthouse or closer to the bottom of it. |

F-22 Raptor by StrikeslipComment: I didn't look at this challenge during voting, but man... this photo is wicked! Is this one of those photos capturing the moment where the plane goes supersonic? |

Naughts & Crossesby sherpetComment: how come there are 6 O's and only 3 X in this tic-tac-toe game? Looks like the O player cheated but the X player still won. |

Beavertail Lighthouseby sysopComment: This is a magnificent wide-angle shot. It should be on a magazine cover somewhere... The only curiosity I have about this image is what else you tried while you were working this scene. I was just wondering if you moved forward a few feet and tried a few with the lighthouse reflection in the pool of water. I think that could possibly be something very strong as well... 10 from me either way :) Nice work... |

Cuneytby mutosComment: A darker shirt would have really set this off nicely... this is a very similar idea to the cover of this month's Rangefinder... |
