Hong Maby ShiiizzzamComment: I like the profile shot of this horse quite a bit... the angle is very nice. The desaturation of the background also seems to work nicely here to help bring the horse out into the foreground more. The part of this photo that looks odd to me is the fence railing at the bottom. If there was some grain or texture on that rail to make it obvious as to what it is, I think it would be a stronger image. In the context of this photo, it looks like it could have been edited in rather than being part of the natural image. |

Mortar and Pestelby orussellComment: I think your subject choice here is strong. The composition feels a bit strange for me.. it looks like your subject is floating in space with the darnkess... I think a little light on the surface could be a nice enhancement :) |

INRIby jaclkal98Comment: I like this subjectively... I also think, that due to the shape of the cross and the subject, that a vertical composition would work better than a square possibly. Nice work with the light :) |

Birds of Paradiseby HRoxasComment: These flowers are beautiful. The shapes and colors here work well against the darkness... nice work :) |

Points of Viewby mhamiltonComment: Greetings from the Critique Club :)
Hi Mhamilton...
I think this is an excellent composition and study in shapes/contrast. I think it may also have some strong potential as a black and white because of those elements and the texture of the ice. As far as point of view is concerned, I don't think this is a particularly strong image. The point of view for this photo doesn't seem to add to the impact of the image. The contrast and shapes are dominant. Challenges usually require some fine attention to the challenge topic. Your approach to the topic should be clear and well-defined.
I like it :)
