The Lady in Redby SandyPComment: Absolutely stunning! Love how she is right there, engaging the viewer with her eyes. Love the black lace and red dress, Exposure is perfect to capture the different shades of black in her hat. AND she's doing the splits while posing! |

Everything Will Be OKby gdkComment: FWIW: Photo has strong, harsh shadows, including one in the bottom left; Maybe change perspective so man appears to be between laundry and building rather than "almost centered" on the round building; maybe have man took at camera (depending on what you're trying to depict). Maybe a bit better use of the rule of thirds - man could be at left 1/3 for example.
I like the pops of color in the background, the open framework against the sky, the primarily earth "fields" - making it look like the crop is struggling to survive; the man's dirty legs and feet. |

Forgotten Beneath the Power Linesby JustinMComment: Love abandoned buildings! I think the graffiti on the white fence at right distracts from the image - it strongly draws the eye away from the power lines and main building. |

Power is Relativeby jomariComment: I liked that this image was creative. I found it interesting that the circle is only broken by a battery at the upper right corner, and that the circle is just a tad to the left of being centered. |

in numbersby jmritzComment: I found the trash can, and the left side guard rail distracting from your main subject, which I assume was the ducks. The lighting is from the left, which puts many of the most visible portions of the ducks in shadow. Perhaps a perspective a bit to the right, using framing to remove the trash can (and to its left) would have resulted with a shot where the white boulder could act as an anchor on the left. Of course, with birds, any movement could've scared them all away... 5 |

a classicby NiallOTuamaComment: I find this image hard to score. I have no idea what I'm looking at. But the image words on several levels. One is the rule of thirds, with the larger light portion at the leftmost 1/3 border, making a swoosh along the lower 1/3 border, and nothing detracts the eye from this subject. I also think the monochrome effect works well for this image. |

The Christmas Mugby grahamgatorComment: I like the simplicity of this shot very much. The steam rising from the mug is a subtle, but very nice effect. |

The late Darth Vaderby NeatComment: The large LEGO figures always amaze me - and make me wonder who has the time to put it together (and who has the money to buy that many lego pieces!). This image is a bit blocky for my taste. |
