Mmmmm.......Circlesby humanprotocoldroidComment: Having the whole donut in focus would have been much better. Also, a tighter crop (top at just before hole on donut just behind the one in focus) would be stronger - the photo doesn't need the additional donuts to communicate your message. (Just scroll the page down to see what I mean.) |

ZigZagby ManicComment: Isn't it amazing what a slight tilt of the camera can do? Nice shot. |

Bleeding Heartby StuckOnTheFarmComment: Just a little more depth of field - having the lower part and side wings of the flower out of focus hurts this shot. |

Divine Shadowby Rob OComment: Love the colors, and the puzzle of what angle is this shot from? |

Press Oneby langdonComment: This might have been stronger on a plain light background - the joint of the two colors of wood in the foreground is distracting. |

"Bring Me To Life"by awpollardComment: A simple dark background helps the shapes and colors come to life - very, very nice shot. I would have preferred a different CD cover on the top CD (like Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon, whose rainbow would tie to the colorful CD covers - but maybe that would be too obvious.) |

GASKET CHAINby tigmoComment: I think the fore links being out of focus distracts a lot from this picture. The chain is strong, and needs a strong anchor in the lower left of the photo - out of focus does not provide this. |

Encompassed Orthogonally Convex Rectilinear Polygonsby Les_FeckComment: For me, this photo does not work - there is not a single focus, and visual cues (like the point of the near roof) leads your eyes to the wrong place. Is the focus the peak of the roof, the white windows, or the shadow image? I think there is a picture here - I'd try cropping it using the + in the rosettes as the upper and outer right/left edges. Nice exposure / focus. The roof peak is nicely centered in the white window vertical, but that points to the white window, which is cropped off... |
