...into the left field bleachersby whatdewucComment: What an awesome moment captured. Unfortunately, the player gets lost in the crowd - especially with his arm in front of his face. It looks like he is six feet off the ground. I also love that everyone is looking away from him. |

Independent Learningby HaikuSailorComment: A tighter crop would've helped this picture. The lots of green scum and road and tinge of sky really don't add to the shot, and detract instead. If the shot wouldn't lose focus, a tight-up of the little boy from waist to mid-hair with the crab may be an excellent photo - especially with the water halo around most of the head. |

Solo From The Heartby elimanComment: Crop, crop, crop. The guy on the stage scratching his lower back is very distracting. If your focus is the guitar soloist, show us that - and not a green and white sign, two guys on a stage paying no attention to the soloist, colorful balloons, and lots of white tiles. Also, the picture could be rotated a bit to the right. Soloist's hair covers his face, but I love the intensity this portrays - just too much distracting material surrounds your subject. |

Why did everyone leave me?by JudiComment: Something about this looks contrived / fake - like a child dressed in a body animal isn't... Somehow the sky does not look like it matches the rock, or that the child looks like he/she has been edited onto a far-away shot of large bluffs. I think the subtle size cues in the photo don't match with each other, making it disturbing rather than pleasing. Your focus is sharp, and the sunburst is very nice. |

The Gospel Singerby xtianComment: What a great shot! Normally I dislike pictures of people with their mouths open, but it just adds to this shot. Your capture of the detail of the texture on her hat, blouse, and handkerchief is superb. A little shadow from the hat is not a big deal because almost everything else is well lit. This is so good, you can almost hear her singing! |

The One and Only.by wingyisleedsComment: This shot loses focus at the top (bottom of picture) of the flower. Nice lighting and contrast with background. |

only one to bloomby SimComment: This has a greenish cast to it - adjusting hue / saturation would improve this shot a lot. Nice framing and focus. |

I Fly Aloneby cogeroxComment: The angle of your photo works against it - I like the action and the colors. I'd have loved to see the yellow frisbee against that wonderful blue sky. The shirt pulled up by his motion is not attractive. Shadow on his face and right side of his body also detract. |

Breakby JPRComment: Talk about picky. This is a great shot, but the excess metal at the bottom, and out-of-focus metal (what would one expect it to be?) at the top detract. Hesitantly, I suggest that this may have been better with 1/3 metal, 1/3 subject and 1/3 metal at bottom. |
