I think you could have lost most of the empty brick on the left without hurting the shot. A great "attitude" shot and the monochrome is a plus on this one. The boys looking in the same direction, but away from the camera add to the "attitude".

If you were going for scary, you succeeded. Hands this close together, reaching out like this is often perceived as threatening. This is augmented by the hands being out of focus while the fact & body are in sharp focus. Add in the unreadable expression and you have a very unsettling image. This image makes very nice use of sand as the background.

Never been a fan of face half shadow / half light. You've captured nice skin tones and a neutral expression. The flower behind the ear is a nice touch, and adds some color to the upper part of the photo.

Too dark. Virtually half your photo is black with no detail. Your main subject is difficult to see, leaving nothing to draw your viewer in.

Too light - you might have gotten away with the face, but when the neck also washes out, it comes across as too much. This is a great eyes shot and a very nice crop.
