Catch!by cynthiannComment: Nice capture, lighting, composition - really, really bad subject. They greyed out eyes (animal red eye?), major view of the tongue, and unidentifiable orange/brown item in the jaw (hot dog slice?) is repulsive. Worse, I am torn between feeling scared or just being grossed out by this. But your technique is so good... can I give two different scores? |

Ready for Opening Musicby eaglebeckComment: A tad soft on the focus. Like the intensity of the near band member's look. Nice colors (and there always has to be at least one clarinet that sticks out from the group - and one trumpet that is too loud...) |

Open My Eyesby sigrun_thComment: Very narrow DOF leaves the white of the eye OOF while being (for me) in the top 3 foci of the shot. |

Don't shake before opening!by JMartComment: LOL! Something wrong about this just sitting on a table. I seem to remember these incidents with someone holding the bottle at arms length trying to keep from getting sprayed... |

Open The Dayby cogeroxComment: Your sky has some very noticeable "banding". There is nothing of interest in the quite dark foreground, and including that much foreground splits your picture in half. In this case, I'd go for 2/3 sky and 1/3 land. The sunrise colors (and size of sun) is nice. |

day14.jpgby PuckzzzComment: This is a great shot! I can picture you flat on your back in the middle of a bike path! LOL! Definitely don't want to stay there too long unless you want to have a conversation with the local police. You did a great job of fading out the background - there is virtually no clue on the context of this - it could just as easily be indoors. It is near enough to symmetrical to fool the eye at first glance. Including the square tab with the circular hole at the upper right of the object is perfect, and I think it truly makes the shot. |

day-14 Mustangby digitalpinsComment: Um how could you miss with a black & white zebra striped car? Seriously, this is a very nice shot on many levels, and the unusual zebra store front and car just add a bit of the unusual and enhances interest. Your lower angle I think makes this shot - much more interesting than the PT Cruiser shot. |
