early morning commuterby tomzinhoComment: This is just too centered (and I like centered). To me, it seems to want to be a diagonal path leading sunward. Even offsettng the sun/sailboat left / right 1/3 would be better. |

Four Stagesby PoobaComment: Reminds me of childhood in Oregon and hiking the "big hill" in early spring looking for the "shooting stars" as my mom called them. Makes me smile. Nice photo. I think a bit less shallow DOF that would have the near bud also in focus would have been better. |

dew dropsby margiemuComment: For this to work, the focus on the flower in the drop has to be very sharp. The sharp focus in the top droplet is the tree at the bottom of the drop. Also, the shot looks grainy to me. I think the reflection on the top of the drops adds to the picture, as does the almost-solid yellow background. You might run this through a purple fringe filter (it that's legal in basic). |

Twin Sunriseby dougi555Comment: This is just slightly tilted, but enough to be very distracting for me. The strong and straight vertical lines make the tilt more obvious. Beautiful color and saturation in the reflected sunrise. |

nature's studioby hopperComment: I'm disappointed this didn't finish much better. To me it was the top shot of the challenge. It captures a feel, and not just an image. |

215 Kilby Rd.by zeuszenComment: I hate phone poles. They insist on being right in the middle of the best shots. |

View behind meby hajekaComment: I love the curved row of trees, following the edge of the water. The shot seems a bit dark to me, but it makes me want to walk along between the water and the trees and see what is around the bend. The Netherlands are beautiful - thanks for giving us a glimpse of it. |
