Nice foreground in focus, bokah in back. Iris are nicely in focus, and color is gorgeous. However, your shot seems to do everything it can to annoy the viewer by distracting from the primary subject (the flowers). You have a large dead spot in the bottom left 2/3 of the shot. You keep most of the vase in the shot, including the water line, but crop off the top part of the flowers. Just a suggestion, but crop down to just the upper right 1/4 of the picture, and I think you'd find that a much more pleasant picture. It isn't "wrong" to crop through the flowers, but the balance of the shot makes me want to see more of the flowers in the upper left of the shot.

Having the foreground shells in as sharp focus as the glass jar mouth would've improved this shot for me.

Too dark - may just be my monitor. Great idea, though.

This feels overprocessed to me. Otherwise, I love the colors and the reflection.

You must really believe in making taking a picture a real challenge. This is a tough shot, and - for me - your entered result has some issues. The major one is lack of focus (in two senses - the sharpness of the image, as well as a major focal point to draw the eye). The large dark area in the bottom half draws my attention - because of both its size and location, but there is literally nothing there to see. I do like the contrast of the red and black - on the emotive side, this has strong contrasting elements, where even the positive element (red) is not entirely so. This almost feels like "danger!" or "warning!".

The heart formed by the shadow is almost too subtle - almost missed it. This shot is just a bit too much of nothing but a bit too much. I want to like it - nice concept, and well done. Perhaps a crop at the bottom of the heart shadow would get rid of a lot of the extra without taking away the soul of the shot.

Too dark for me. I think this could have been lightened a fair amount without losing the mood.

For me, what gives this shot that "extra punch" is the beautiful lighting on the gold foil on the neck of the bottle that ties into the gold on the frame. Very nicely done.

I like this a lot. Excellent use of the pitcher & bowl tying into the lemon & limes' colors. Using a white chair for the "table" all against a red background produces a vibrant, colorful image. Add to that your arrangement of the elements, which adds a lot of interest, and this is just an outstanding shot.
