Spamming Spamby SiouxComment: Mirror mirror - Is my SPAM near? Interesting shot. It feels a bit too yellow to me (at least on the cans, but the shelf / etc. seem to be OK). |

The Ultimate Spam Filterby ReinerComment: Interesting edit. Great idea. Nice timing. I won't ask how many cans of SPAM you went through to get the shot... |

What's For Dinner? Spotted Dick it is!by CraigDComment: I like what you've tried to do with the diagonal line between the cans and the empty cupboard. However, for me, I think you could've gotten the same message across just using 1/2 of the cupboard, and cropping in a lot tighter, making the labels more readable. You'd still have the concept of only two choices in a bare cupboard. |

Old School Styleby oscarthepigComment: Interesting tilt to shot - I think it adds to the interest. Nice working with shiny surfaces, and lighting. |

Spam Mail Has Gone Too Far!by SenayComment: Smiles. Cute idea. Lighting is a bit strong on the front of the mailbox, reflected on the inside of the lid, and on the SPAM can. If you used a flash (and it looks like you did), try backing up a few more steps and using the zoom (or crop). If that is not enough, try a bit different angle on the lid, so it bounces the light away from the lens. |

Spam...A Pork Productby HipychikComment: Your model's face is a bit dark, but this makes me laugh! In the thumbnail, it looked like he had an artificial piggy nose on. Very creative idea, and your model has a great pose and expression! |

Pan Fried Spam with Fresh Tomato & Basil Salad by timfythetooComment: Wow! That almost looks good. Nice use of DOF, although I think the glass distracts from the shot (especially being almost diagonal). Might be a bit hot on the center tomato, but that is being pretty picky - it really doesn't distract from the overall shot. |

Oh Who Would Care for A Spamwich?by got2bgutsyComment: Mr Goat? I hear you like tin cans...
Something about this shot doesn't work for me - the dark spot in the background is distracting. Also, it is not obvious what the background is, and it blends a bit too well and not well enough with the tablecloth / place mat. It feels to me like elements of the shot are competing rather than blending.
Maybe it is just this simple - I don't like the combo of the baby blue to white and the dark blue of the can (pastel vs. primary colors). |
