Rudi Engel by JeffryZComment: Watch the background - which is what distracts from this otherwise excellent photo. Nice expression, lighting, pose, depth of field. But you have a doorway on the left and it looks like a speaker on the right, and it looks like a tent seam going right through his head. |

Fly Byby MagnumphotographyComment: These are very difficult to shoot - very shy birds (at least around here). Biggest drawback is the bird blends too much with the background. Nice focus, detail, and capture of a moving object. |

For the love of Artby MadukesComment: Great memories. Interesting idea for a wedding shot. The well lit background vs. the shaded foreground seem to compete. |

Fallsby LeoComment: Multnomah Falls, to be precise. Interesting choice of composition - most try to get in both falls, or place the bridge at the bottom of the shot. About the only time you see this perspective is with a couple of family members or friends in the foreground posing... Nice, deep colors, good detail. |

Time Outby dsa157Comment: Very, very nice. Centered composition often doesn't work well, but it does here - thirds empty all the way around, with him in the middle third. Great eyes and expression. Great use of the floor to draw the eye to the subject. |

a coat of ragsby idpComment: Interesting subject, but background is WAY too busy. Not sure why your crop leaves in the arm on the left edge. Great color in coat of rags. |

Catalina Islandby RohnComment: IMO, the lady at the left distracts instead of adds to the shot. The building is interesting, and the aqua railing and red roof add a splash of color. |

Standing Tallby kvartanovComment: IMO, if the trees were on the left 1/3 line, this would be an excellent exceptional picture. As is, it just seems a bit too centered. Love the color, with the hint of color in the water. |
