aqababy emadshlbComment: Not sure how this is a homemade landscape. Lighting is a bit too washed out in the upper 2/3 of the shot. |

Colour Inside the Linesby hotpastaComment: Regardless of the DQ, 44 8's, 28 7's, 9's, and 10's from dpc'ers says all that needs to be said about your image. Beautiful, creative, enjoyable, and I would even say, true art. |

STIPPLINGby Love6Comment: My opinion is that your score is more a result of people not knowing what they were looking at, plus being more than a little out of the box, much more than the quality / impact of the photo.

Honoring Paramedics by gwilton111Comment: The background (central light radiating outwards) and the shadows (strong light from viewer's left) are incongruent. Otherwise, this is a very nice picture. |

Looking at one monument from under anotherby frggygrlComment: IMO, the sky in this looks overprocessed - on my screen, there are distinct arched bands across the sky above the opera house. There is some halo'ing (white edge) on the tower roof and top girder of the bridge arch. Also, there is a large discrepancy in lighting between the right and left sides of the photograph. This also creates competing focal points. I would suggest going for a "framed opera house", using the bridge arch, and the round tower up to just to the left of the window and down to about the 2nd tan stone.
I like the idea of the two monuments and looking from one to the other, but the lighting at this angle and time of day just isn't cooperating with you. |

Mad Hatterby gadionComment: Great shot - too bad about the DQ, but the picture is just as good, regardless of when it was taken... |
