I'm not sure what it is about this picture..maybe the arrangement is chaotic without any story to tell? Perhaps if you concentrated on just the eggplant and the green leaves it would be stronger?

I feel the background is really too busy and the lighting is a bit too harsh with the highlights and shadows its creating to really capture the detail of this flower. maybe a simpler background (a different angle on the flower?) or a shallower DOF to blur more of the background and keep attention on the flower.

i feel this is more pink than red. The shadows are a bit harsh too, which takes away from the elegance of the flower. I think too that the focus may be a little soft, but not badly so. Compositionally, there is something missing that gives a centre of attention, perhaps if the rightmost flower petals from the other flower were cropped out? Just some ideas. :)

I like the simple composition here..I wish more of the blue part of the mask was showing, but don't wish it enough to mark you down for it or anything. :) Focus is very nice, as is the lighting. There are highlights and reflections on the mask without it being too distracting.
