symmetric house of worshipby rodgers_leComment: I have photographed the Duke Chapel :) It seems you used the same podium I did as support. You seem to have lost the color in the stained glass. When I photographed it I had trouble getting the white balance where it satisfied my eye and folks complained that it was green. |

shady rainbowsby laurie241Comment: This image might have been more interesting if there was a little less extraneous material in the image. The colors also don't seem to pop out at you. It appears that this might have been taken mid-day. A photo later in the day might have added to the quality of the scene. |

Stepping Out Aloneby BrianRComment: I don't know what to say. I am sure you have done something here that is really cool (reversing black and white?), but somehow it just doesn't grab me and it is hard to put my finger on. Somehow the shoe itself seems to be "soft" on focus, but I don't think it is...ceramic shoe? |

strawberry n' creamby bvlindalouComment: Typically I love these type images, but the focus, or shutter speed, on this one are a bit off and it distracts from the image. |

The Day Tripby SaraRComment: technically the image is good (exposure, color, focus, etc) IMO the straight angle, though it conveys a story, doesn't bring you into the scene. For me the score was depressed by the composition more than photo quality. |

Brolgaby ButterflyGirlComment: technically this photo is good (focus, exposure, etc) but I think it would benefit from processing to bring out the color in the head. The whole image seems flat. The angle that the bird is turned doesn't contribute either...although I am not sure if you could have controlled that. |

Cannot Change The Pastby photokariangelComment: The message is good and I am sure the focus is soft intentionally, but that part of it doesn't appeal to me. Not sure how others would perceive that. |

Beauty in Decayby inamoComment: I can appreciate what you are seeing, but it seems a bit out of focus and unfortunately images of this sort have not done well in these competitions |

It Ended With a Chair...by got2bgutsyComment: The angle and density of the shadows detract from the image IMO. I would also have cropped the bottom of the window from the image. |
